Regional railway authorities are continuously exploring new models and paths for logistics integration. For example, CR-Chengdu signed a logistics integration contract with Pangang Group. Pangang Group will entrust the logistics services for 23.36 million tons of goods to the railway next year, on the other hand, CR-Chengdu, in conjunction with affiliated units, will provide priority organization services for Pangang Group in terms of capacity allocation, loading organization, and more. Additionally, CR-Xi’an established a logistics integration project team to formulate marketing strategies, design logistics products, and develop comprehensive integration plans, creating a collaborative and integrated work mechanism across multiple departments. Yan’an Car Depot signed a coal “door-to-station” transportation business agreement with Shangluo Land Port Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., with the first logistics integration train smoothly departing.
China Railway Express Co., Ltd. successively signed strategic cooperation agreements with China Resources Snow Breweries and Nongfu Spring. Following the “terminal-to-terminal” cooperation mechanism, the railway authority is promoting comprehensive cooperation in various regions in terms of train operations, warehousing layout, and logistics value-added services. Responding to the transportation needs of large quantities, long distances, and stable sources for China Resources Snow Breweries, the railway authority is researching the operation of “point-to-point” express trains with China Resources Snow Breweries as the main supplier. In response to the logistics operations of large-packaged water for Nongfu Spring, efforts are being made to provide high-quality end-to-end logistics services and supply chain management.
China Railway Special Cargo Logistics Co., Ltd. established logistics integration cooperation with XCMG Group, laying a solid foundation for increasing the market share of railway transportation of engineering machinery products. The two parties are engaging in deep cooperation in five areas: logistics, application of engineering machinery equipment, joint research and development of customized logistics equipment, and management. Using data and digital technology, they aim to match XCMG products’ transportation methods precisely with multimodal transportation. In fields such as product specifications, technical parameters for railway transportation, trajectory tracking, and intelligent warehousing, they are promoting the deep integration of production, transportation, and sales.
